CPF's New Leaders
Wendy Murray, publisher and owner of Senior Life Magazine in North Fort Myers, was elected president of the Community Papers of Florida (CPF) at the annual conference in Orlando.

The General Membership of CPF approved the recommendation of the nominating committee of persons to serve as officers and directors. According to the by-laws, they will serve a two-year term effective immediately.

Elected vice president was Scott Blonde, publisher of The Breeze Newspapers Group in Cape Coral.

CPF Executive Director Dave Neuharth, a non-voting director, will serve as secretary.

Justo Rey, president of The Flyer, will serve as treasurer and past president.

Serving as directors are Susan Griffin, publisher of OPC News in Ponte Vedra Beach; Dan Autrey, president of Tampa Bay Newspapers in Seminole; Charlie Delatorre, publisher of Tower Publications in Gainesville; Jim Kendall, past president of The Flyer in Tampa; and Tom Adams, director of advertising of Forum Publishing Group in Tamarac.
