CPF Members Take Home National Awards
Members of the Community Papers of Florida (CPF) struck gold in the Association of Free Community Papers (AFCP) annual graphics and editorial award contest presented recently in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Hometown News out of Fort Pierce was one of the top winners in the national competition. Hometown picked up 13 awards, including four first place honors.

Tower Publications in Gainesville picked up five awards, including two first place honors. Southwest Florida Business Today in Fort Myers won four awards, including three first place honors. Dunndeal Publications in Tampa earned four awards, including one first place honor. Forum Publishing Group picked up three awards, including two first place honors.

Other winners were the Florida Mariner in Venice, and Breeze Newspapers in Fort Myers.

Dunndeal Publications and Southwest Florida Business Today were honored with first place awards in the Best of Show category. Southwest Florida Business Today was also the recipient of the first place most improved publication award.
