Conference is Right Around the Corner!
If you haven't already registered for CPF's annual conference September 15-16, you'll want to do so right away. The hotel room cutoff date is August 11. We cannot guarantee the special conference room rate beyond that date, nor can we guarantee that a room will even be available. So click on the link below to download a registration form, complete it and fax it back now! (Yeah, we know. We'd rather register online too, but our online system bit the dust this year and is beyond our ability to repair, so we had to revert to paper.)

We've got a great agenda planned specifically for sales reps. Peter Lamb returns to our midst as our Keynote Speaker. His Saturday morning presentation, "Best practices from around the world: Who is winning the revenue war, and why?" promises to be enlightening. Peter will also moderate a roundtable session with CPF classified sales reps, touching on the following topics: "The nuts and bolts of selling local classifieds" and "What ads have the potential to be network classifieds?"

Our own Justo Rey will moderate several sessions, including Friday afternoon's Open Mic Publishers Session, and two sessions on Saturday: the ever-popular Three Minute Idea Fair, and a special "Digital/Print Combinations Selling Well" session. Circulation Verification Council President Tim Bingaman will be on hand Friday afternoon with a CVC update.

We have returned to an old, beloved format for our annual "Awards for Excellence" recognition: the Saturday evening banquet. So along with your business casual clothes for the daily sessions, pack some fancy duds for the banquet and photo session. It's your time to shine!

We are looking forward to seeing you on September 15-16 at the Hutchinson Island Marriott Beach Resort & Marina in Stuart, Florida!
