What You Should Know

Payment

Ad placements must be paid for in advance. Credit terms, approved by FCPAN, are due upon receipt of invoice. In the event that the advertiser fails to make payment on time, the advertiser will become responsible for all expenses incurred in connection with collection of that amount, including court costs and attorneys fees. FCPAN has the right to hold advertisers and agencies jointly and severely liable for such monies that are due and payable to FCPAN. Advertisers and agencies shall also be liable for all court costs and attorneys fees incurred during the collection process.

Position

Due to the diversity of member publications, FCPAN cannot guarantee the position of any advertisement.

Copy Restrictions

FCPAN reserves the right to reject any copy at its sole discretion.

Liability for Errors

FCPAN and/or CPF assume no liability for any advertisement, whether or not it is supplied by the advertiser or produced by FCPAN. FCPAN is not responsible for errors, and CPF shall not be liable to the advertiser for any loss that results from incorrect publications or omissions of its advertisements.

All advertising copy created by FCPAN is the sole property of FCPAN, and cannot be reproduced without written consent from FCPAN.

Deadlines and Cancellations

The deadline for placing ads is Monday at noon (Eastern time), at least ten business days prior to the week the ad will run. Cancellation of ads must be done by Monday at noon (Eastern time) at least five business days prior to the ad running. The advertiser will be responsible for any publication or distribution cost provided by FCPAN regardless of the cancellation notice.

Creative Services

FCPAN has made available a creative department to produce or assist in the production of your advertisement. Please call 877-373-3142 for rates.

Column Sizing

FCPAN member publications have various formats. FCPAN will provide members with the correct format. Sizes of ads will vary according to publication format. Advertisers will be charged for ads that float.

Halftone Screen

FCPAN requires an 85-line halftone screen.

Rate Increases

FCPAN will announce all changes in rates at least 30 days prior to changes.
